MFP is saying I should intake 2060 calories per day

I think this is too high in my opinion. When I went to my doctor, he said I should be eating around 1500 for my height/weight and my daily activity level. Why would MFP suggest higher?

What did you put in as your height, weight, and activity level? And your weight loss goal in pounds per week?0

What is your height/weight/activity level?
I am 5 ft 0'', I started at 200 lbs and was losing well on 2100, and I wouldn't consider myself extremely active.
Keep in mind the rate of loss that MFP was suggesting versus what your doctor recommended.0 -
Hi Emily, my MFP calorie goal is 2210. This is based on the fact that I started three weeks ago at 287lbs and have a sedentary lifestyle. Obviously I'm unaware of your weight or lifestyle but past experience has shown me that MFP works (despite my current weight) if you let it. As long as you have entered everything correctly and are losing weight I wouldn't question it.

What is your height/weight? I think it sounds high but I'm only 4'11 and weigh 125 (I've lost 25 lbs already) so I have very little left to lose at this point so I only get 1200 per day.0
