To lose 45 pounds, focus on your calorie goal -- not your carbohydrate goal. You can start with MFP's default goals and then tweak them if they aren't working for your particular fitness/satiety needs1

I tend to focus on protein first. If I'm in a calorie deficit, 1.1grams per pound of bodyweight. Don't want to lose any of that muscle! Then, about 20% for fat. Sometimes I'm lower. The rest is carbs.0

To lose weight, you need a calorie deficit. The right macro split can help you stick to that calorie deficit.
So you don't need to change macros unless the way you are eating now makes you hungry (and prone to "cheating").0
