That's why I'm not fond of the expression "lost weight." There's got to be a better way to say that without sounding ridiculous.1 -

This just made me think that in Spanish we use 'lowering weight'!!! But when someone says "you're losing weight" we use 'thinning', so, they will say "you're thinning"... Hehehe languages!1
