    That's why I'm not fond of the expression "lost weight." There's got to be a better way to say that without sounding ridiculous.

    This just made me think that in Spanish we use 'lowering weight'!!! But when someone says "you're losing weight" we use 'thinning', so, they will say "you're thinning"... Hehehe languages!

    Love that. There used to be a common English euphemism of "reducing." I'm not sure most people today would understand what that means.
