Emotional eating

Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with emotional eating? The last few days have been very rough, I've eaten so much ice cream I'm afraid to step on the scale. I don't want to undo all the hard work I've put in, but I don't know how to pull myself out of this

Find alternatives to do instead of eating: Lonely visit a friend or call a friend, angry go to a boxing class, stressed go for a work or have a leisurely soak in the bath reading a book, etc etc
Essentially its about finding alternatives that keep your mind and hands busy, but not busy eating.1 -
I'm eating a bowlful of broccoli to counteract wanted to emotionally eat right now. I try to fill up on something healthy, if I still want something junky at least it would be less.0

When I feel like I can't stop eating, I will drink Cranberry concentrated juice. It tastes so bitter, but for some reason I have no urge to eat after a couple of shots. I know that I have to stop myself from eating unless my old way of thinking /habits will come back. So try doing what you can to distract yourself. Feel free to add me if you're interested in support1
