Tough mudder Saturday!

It's that time again. I'll be doing my second tough mudder on Saturday. I finish my last one in around 2 hours 40 and I know people say it's not s race but my goal is to try beat my time of last year! I just have a few questions -
1. Is it worth me going out for a run tomorrow night nothing to heavy just like a 5-10k jog? Don't really want to over do it and ruin my legs before Saturday!
2. After crossing the finish line last year I felt great but the next day was a different story. I could hardly move off the sofa let alone get up and go for a run. Has anyone have any advice on stopping this from happening again? I stretch out once I finished but I'm guessing I done sometbing wrong?
Cheers

I am running my third Mudder this year, I have not done anything (but maybe yoga) at least 3 days prior.
