Lifting success for ladies

My story isn’t as impressive as many on here, but here goes. I started lifting in the 3rd week in June after being inactive and quite sedentary for several years. I was what is often called ‘skinny fat,’ that is a normal weight but a lack of lean body mass (muscle).
I actually started at 112.5 pounds, and at the beginning of October started eating at a surplus and I’ve gain five pounds in the last three months. I’d like to gain another 3-4 pounds. I’m 46 ½ years old and I’ve had three kids. Don’t let your age convince you that you can’t be fit!
May (just doing cardio)
July (five weeks of strength training)
August 30th (before going up to maintenance calories)
September 1 and December 26 Comparison, 5 pounds heavier
December- after six months of lifting
Not bulky, but definitely more curvy!
If I flex though, you can see some muscle
