I started working out and eating a lot healthier about 8 weeks ago. The first month I lost about 8 pounds. Now for the past 4 weeks my weight has not moved at all. I do a walk/run program where I walk for 3 minutes at 3mph and then run for 2 minutes at 4.5mph and I do that back and forth for an hour, trying to build up my endurance. I do this 6 days a week as well as I eat somewhere between 1200-1500 calories each day. I still have a lot more weight to lose and I'm just wondering why my weight loss has stopped, it is getting pretty discouraging. Anyone have any suggestions?

1,200 calories seems extremely low with all that exercise.
Are you sure your body isn't just "shutting down"?
You need to open your diary.
State your current weight. Are you only 110 and 5'2?
I've seen 18 year olds here with "issues".
Well,,, at least they say they are 18.

I am 18-almost 19, 5'5" 180lb. I was 188 when I started. I have always been a bit "bigger" as I have plaid volleyball since 2nd grade. I was 170lb about a year ago and in shape but then college started and you know how that goes. I have gained 16-18 pounds in the past year in my first year of college. Anyways since I have started running daily and watching my calorie intake I also drink about 2-3 liters of water each day. And eat lost of fruit (I am kind of picky about vegetable but I eat at least one large salad each day).

Also only eating 1200-1500 calories each day I feel completely fine not like I am hungry or anything. I am definitely not starving myself. Lol

Open your diary. The typical questions to those with questions regarding weight stalls are in the flow chart above:

    Do you have food scale?
How do you track exercise and do you eat them back?
Do you log everything like butter, oils, condiments, etc.?

Honest logging and weighing your food is key. Not eating back too many exercise calories as you can easily derail your MFP deficit it set up for you by eating too much.

I rarely ever go over my daily calories (before exercise) which is 1560. So no I do not eat them back. And I use a good scale whenever I can. There is not always a food scale available obviously.. but whenever I can I do. And I always log salad dressings, I don't really use condiments very often.

Your diary seems off to me, even the gram measurements. Every single time you have avocado it's 33.33 grams for some reason. Are you actually weighing that out every time? Do you have a scale that actually gives a gram measurement to the hundredths? Also, I see takeout on quite a few days and the calorie counts for that can be very far off.

I have been trying to not eat out as much, but being in college I cannot always do so. So I try to find the healthiest stuff but I know those can still be off

You said you ate a lot of fruit. Has all that fruit been logged ? I do notice over the week or two I looked over a lot of cup measure especially for fruit. And things like a banana, 1/2 a banana.

Also one entry stood out to me

    Porkchop - Porkchop, 3.5 oz 114 0 4 20 184 0

Looking at other Pork Chops I get at least double that calorie content for 3.5 oz so where did things like that come from ?
