Anyone had any luck using carb cycling to drop last few lbs of body fat? I've never tried it but am hoping to kickstart my fat loss as I've hit a major standstill.

The last few pounds need diligent calorie counting whatever your macro make up is.

How long has it been? Do you weigh everything on a food scale? Do you eat back your exercise calories? If so, how are your burns calculated?

I have. Keep in mind though, you have to keep your protein intake way up (think like 80gm/day +), so on carb cycling days you really shouldn't be eating much fat at all, there shouldn't be much room in your macros for it. My carb cycling does not translate into cheat days, those are just the days that I eat rice instead of spinach with my 4oz of ground beef + 2eggs + sriracha for lunch.

Love it. But you have to do it right so it can be tricky. I found out about it through a trusted coach who guided me through it so now I can do it on my own. Now I only do it because I love my high carb days and my high fat days and want both because I'm a greedy little girl >:)

Five-ish months. Weigh everything on a scale, I don't eat back much if anything of my exercise calories. I use a heart rate monitor for all workouts. I was eating 1,200 calories a day and working out pretty hard so I was concerned I wasn't getting enough nutrients and maybe that was stalling my weight loss (although most people on here say starvation mode is a myth) so I've upped to 1,500 instead. So far no impact at all. SO frustrating.

Any advice on how to get started?
