Do any of you log additional activities such as cleaning if your steps are transferring from your Fitbit. Not sure what is correct.

I don't. I assume that my Fitbit accounts for all the movement I make, and MFP adjusts my goal accordingly. If I happen to burn a couple extra doing dishes or whatever, I'll just get to my goal faster.

I only use my Fitbit to log cardio. I tried using the auto sync feature on MFP and the calorie burned was double what it should have been.

I log no exercise at all unless my fitbit dies or something and I eat pretty much everything the fitbit gives me back. Losing right on track...

No. As long as you're wearing it, it's calculating all of that for you. If you're going to enter an activity, do it on the fitbit app - not MFP. Also, if your accounts are synced, you only log food in MFP.

    Best of luck! :flowerforyou:

I would only log something strenuous that my fitbit may not track. Biking or swimming for example.
(The newer models or heart rate monitor models may pick up on this? I just updated from an older model to the Alta a few days ago so I'm still playing with what it will/won't track. It claims it will track biking, etc. In which case I will let my it do my adjustments and track nothing.)

exactly what Tiffany Lacourse said, i use fitbit surge, synch with my M.F.P. account it accounts for all my activites , like walking as i conduct foot patrols at my security job even sleeping, xd, and i never eat an of the calories burned back even thou it is suggest you can eat up to about 50-75 % of them if needed, i choose not to.
