Just curious if the end results are the same? Yesterday i rode my exercise bike for half hour and put it down as half of what mfp predicts and walked about 15000 steps over the course of the day and left calories on the table. Now today I'm almost out and really feel like treating myself a bit.

Yep. Many people here follow a weekly calorie goal, with a few lower calorie days to save up for 1-2 higher calorie days.

Sure. I try to stick to my daily goal but for me the weekly average is the most important.

Yep. Your body doesn't reset at midnight. I wish MFP had a true weekly deficit setting.

I use the mobile app and on the nutrition page I can see the weekly average and how much over/under weekly goal. I find this feature one of the most useful ones.

I use this too. But wish for something like the daily calorie allotment for weekly calories.
    cheers

This is a very good idea. If you find time do post it in the feedback forums.
