Is there anything you can get that, legally obviously, will help you recover faster from workouts?

I have fibromyalgia and when the digestive issues pop up the body doesn't absorb stuff like it should and so this can really set your recovery time back a lot. It was recommended to me to look in to a supplement that can help speed up recovery after work outs. I see a lot of stuff online and I know a lot of it is junk and a money grab so I wanted to ask here if anyone could suggest anything from their own personal experiences.

I have mild fibro and the thing that helps me recover best is to take a walk 3-4 hours after my workout. I also walk immediately before and after my workouts, but the one a few hours later definitely helps bring my energy back up. I'd be wary of the recovery supplements.

My work outs are usually after my daughter goes to sleep so they're later at night otherwise the walk sounds good.

Ever since november during workouts my thighs and glutes burn. Have been to massage, doctor, acupunture, and pt and nothing has helped. Was hoping there was something that could help but I am not overly optimistic either about supplements either.

Thing that really stinks is if I rest more than 3 days the fibro gets bad to the point where it is worse pain then when I workout so I have to workout again.

I can battle through 80 mins on the elliptical, but going up 2 flights of stairs burns my thigh area to the point I gave to rest my legs. Maybe my medication stopped working. I dont know.

I also realize mine isnt as bad as a lot of others so while I explain my situation I am not complaining despite the no el I write above. I am thankful mine isn't fully blown to the point that I can't ecen exercise. My cousin's is that bad.

I find Epsom salt baths help somewhat with muscle pain after heavier workouts.
