Hi I'm Rowana, I am brand new to MFP. I have topped 100kgs and I hurt all-over. Now is the time to fix my health before it's too late. I look forward to engaging fully with the app and the community.

You not alone. Let's do it. I'm struggling for while1

Me too!! I was over 101kg (again!) at the beginning of the month. Knees hurt, an old ankle injury made a reappearance, and the plantar fasciitis in both of my feet has returned, Urgh, come on, we can do it!!0

LOL...I'm fat and sore also (recovering from knee surgery) feel free to add me.0

Had to look up conversion, I was 122 kg and am currently 86 kg. I was always in some kind of pain, foot, back, head, as soon as I woke up. Now it's AMAZING. unless it's an activity that causes soreness I am pretty much pain free! Just be the little train that could and start chugging along, I promise it's worth it!0

Good luck!0

Thanks for your support. We are intelligent women. We understand what needs to be done... why do we struggle until we're sick before doing something?1

For me it was a combination of denial that I was borderline obese (I exercise a lot so how could that be?) and just being too lazy to make the effort to change things, after all, I do like my sweets and beers and food in general. I was beginning to just feel like crap, achy, depressed and lazy and really struggling to not get up to my all time high weight I was at a little over 3 years ago when I first came on MFP. You're are a lot younger than me (I'm 62) so my advice to you is do it now so you're not still fighting this battle 15-20 years from now. It has paid off for me. I'm down 30 pounds since January and 5 pounds from my goal which I'll re-evaluate when I get there. Good luck to you, you will find a lot of motivation and information on MFP. Follow those that have been on here awhile and had success with the process of CICO.1 -
Thanks Rocknut, I'd like to fit into something special for my 50th in January. We're not getting any younger and 'putting it off' is crazy. It would be so easy to just let it go as we age. There are plenty of bigger people out there! Well done for you, I love beer too but I love me more1
