Stepping out of my comfort zone

That second mile is a bear!

I've been running a mile for over a year, and I've been trying to get my daughter doing it too. Thing is, she drags her feet and complains the whole way, and its all very excruciating for both of us

I decided last week that I'd start going an extra mile by myself after our jog to recollect my sanity. I do not like jogging. I never have, and I am willing to bet I never will. Thing is, it's an easy thing to set goals for yourself with, and its amazing how one day you just realize you hit that goal...whether it's a distance or a time or a stretch without stopping

This second mile is a challenge. Nope, I'm not jogging that whole thing (yet). It will happen, but I'm nut pushing it (yet). I guess my point is, as is often said, if you stay in your comfort zone, you will never improve. Step outside, just a little, and you may amaze yourself!
