Slow Down Towards the End?

I'm 5"10 and and 175. I still have plenty of room for improvement with my beer gut and thighs but, at the same time i'm starting to feel too restricted by my diet and quite frankly i want more. So I did maintenance for the last week. I'm thinking of switching to half pound a week setting and weighing only on the first of each month until i eventually reach my goal. I also want to actually learn to eat emotionally and when actually hungry before i hit maintenance. Anyone else decide to intentionally throttle their weight loss in the homestretch?

    Yes, me. I went from 200 to about 169 losing .9 lbs a week but I've felt lost lately. Lots of change going on all around me. I need to be the same for a little bit. So I'm on maintenance right now. I probably won't resume for a few weeks. Definitely going to try for .5 (maybe .45 seeing as how my previous pattern went. lol) when I get back to it. I know I can do it. At this point maintenance is probably just as important!
