15 lbs in 20 days? I hope you won't be starving yourself.

Best wishes. The best thing I can think of doing is recommending the Helpful Posts:

Weight loss is quite simple and straightforward. You don't need luck or to "try" if your goal is realistic and you do the things that wil make weight loss happen - eat at a calorie deficit. Depending on how much you have to lose, you can lose 0.5 - 2 pounds per week.

This is possible. But you need to be starting at around 400lbs. I hope this is your case otherwise you will either be disappointed on the 20th or in the emergency room.

Start walk/running! But make sure you eat ALL your calories! Otherwise your body thinks your starving and holds onto the weight. I lost 105lbs in 8 months, by running!!! Knee problems gave me 60lbs back.

Why would you blame your knee problems for eating unreasonably? And the holding on to weight is rubish.

Starvation mode is a myth and has been busted repeatedly.

Why would you advice running, if that gave you knee problems?? :o

NO. No, no no no nononononononononononononononononononnononononononononononono.

I understand you're trying to help but this is inaccurate and has been debunked repeatedly.

The human body does not "hold onto" weight, fat, anything. Until you are dead. Because it has stopped converting fat/weight/anything from matter to energy (without energy, you're dead). If this was true, that your body could "hold onto" fat/weight/anything, no one would ever starve to death. Adaptive thermogenesis is a thing, but it's complicated, it's only seen in LONG term very low calorie diets, and it still isn't what you're talking about. If this is news to you and you want to know more, I would be very very happy if you would PM me and I will give you all the time in the world to get into the details. Again, I'm sure that you have the best intentions here, and I'm not trying to be mean.

OP; Eating all your calories that MFP gives you is sound advice for health reasons, but you should do it because you need that many calories to get adequate nutrition, not for the sake of this myth.
