Alright so I'm a waitress and I always have my iphone in my pocket I was wonder if the step tracker calorie ratio was correct because whenever I went on livestong's website to see how many in a eight hour shift I would burn it was broken down to around 150 calories per hour but after yesterday's eight hour shift on the step motion tracker on my iPhone I showed that I only burnt 250 calories which I'm confused about so which one should I base my calories burnt at work.?

Are you saying that the iphone is reporting 250 kal burned for an 8 hour shift? If so, that is not correct.

You burn way more than 250 calories in an eight hour shift waitressing.

The question is moot. Your work activity should be captured in your activity level setting

Yep. I wouldn't log that as exercise that's your activity level AKA what someone else mentioned already
