I apologize if I have asked this before... I am in my mid 40's and I have lossed weight and gained it back plus. In the past year I have losses and kept 50 or so off. Since o seem to keep losing and gaining the same 10-25 pounds over and over, and can't get below 225. Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong?

LOL...hopefully I didn't make you wait too long.
OP, how are you measuring your food intake? Eyeballing portions? Measuring cups and spoons? A food scale? A digital food scale is the most accurate.
Weight loss boils down to eating less than you burn. If you're not losing, you're eating more than you think. You have to be as precise as possible with knowing your food intake. Maybe if you open your diary we can give you tips about your logging.
Meanwhile, I present to you the famous Chart, brought to us by @lemonlionheart:

The first thing I would suggest is to get a digital food scale (if you don't already have one) and start making sure you are weighing food & logging accurately so that you know you are in the calorie goals that MFP sets for you:)0

^^Yeah, agree.
Use the numbers the site gives, log everything, use a food scale. Give it more time and be consistent.0
