Just venting because I'm worried

Iv'e fallen off the wagon for the last 2 weeks and am getting straight back on it first thing tommorow! I've still got a lot of weight to lose. I'm determined to get there but I do feel like Ive lost my mojo!!

Ive so far put on 3kg (6.6lbs) on my 2 weeks of not counting cals. But that was 4 days ago so I'm sure there's more since!

To be honest it has scared the crap out of me just how easy it was to go back to my old habits... habits which I thought I had kicked to the curb!

For the last 5 months I've been going so well and any blow outs of my diet have all been calculated before hand. Everything was going so well and I'm not even sure how it fell apart but when it did it happend so fast!

It's made me realise that I'm going to be spending my whole life having to watch goes in my mouth. I envy people that never have to worry about diets or anything. I'd love just to be normal weight and not have to worry about cals all the time!

Anyways enough venting I could probably go on for hours. Just needed to jot my thoughts down and need some support.

first why and how did you fall off the wagon? Finding those triggers can help you not fall into that trap again.

Other than that, we all have a bad day, or even a few. Just get back on track

echoing what JPBI said - what happened? was there a particular stressor/s involved? family? food triggers?

Just hop right back on the wagon. a few off days here and there will not derail the whole thing.
  • Hey love, we all have blow outs and fall off the wagon, but the main thing to pull from this is "what happened" to make you fall off. I know mine is 'all in my head' and having a baby 5 months ago with all the hormones still raging around does NOT help! lol do you have good support system/buddies around you?? You can ALWAYS message me hun I will be there for you without a doubt!! but lean on the people who offer you their support.. Okay, so you have gained 3kgs, work at losing those ONE KG AT A TIME!! Think small baby steps AND YOU CAN DO THIS!!
Lower you cal intake for a few weeks and up you exercise, there are LOTS of things you can do at home with canned food/weights, or if you are, up the reps and sets, push it harder and further... Say you are watching tv, watch tv and do some squats, lunges, pushups and crunches at the same time.. are you jogging?? if not maybe try and jog until you think you are going to die and push it 30seconds each time before you stop. Just do something little each time and push it until it hurts and keep going!! I believe in you hun!!! **hugs**

Great advice. Do you keep a diary of what you eat? I find this helps me see my own triggers, if you're an 'emotional eater' it's especially helpful.

Good luck getting back on that wagon!
