    I once accompanied a lady to an awards show, which was great, because there were some quite well known names and faces there. But after the novelty wore off, it was no fun being the single most invisible / insignificant person there. I was like furniture.

    Really? So that's really a thing in USA? Wow here they just hook up and see where it goes from there so no dating in Iceland...

    There are hundreds of millions of people living in the states...everybody's different :joy: Some people are all about the one night stands. Some people don't have sex until marriage. A lot of people are somewhere in between....

    I don't mind hooking up w/ people I know. But if it's someone new...I'm going to want to know them for at least a couple months first.
