having my 4 year old completely lose his *kitten* in the grocery store on me, I had to hold him in my arms while he was sobbing uncontrollably, kicking and punching me....and the self checkout machine broke as I was trying to pay so I had to leave that line and go stand in a regular checker line....meltdown and all....
