Anyone using CLA

So i just purchased some CLA and was wondering if anyone else uses it?
In particular i am wondering how much other people are taking daily?
Do you take more on a big work out day and less on more chilled days?

CLA is pretty much a waste of money.

CLA appears to be a good research molecule, since there is a lot of evidence after human ingestion and it was one of the first of its mechanisms (PPARa / PPARy modulator) to be used.

A pretty poor fat burner, and even more unreliable than it is bad at burning fat. It might make you lose enough fat to compensate for that cookie you had once.

It has no astounding other affects on health or anything, it just seems to be quite an overhyped and uneventful molecule(s)

    Don't waste your cash.

It's relatively expensive to run at the recommended doses and as you can see above, it even has potentially deleterious health effects that are not fully understood yet. Unfortunately for CLA it's yet again one of those supplements that appears to perform well in animal studies but the results aren't replicable in humans trials. It also requires a high-ish dose, which brings into question whether it's economically viable to use it when you could be spending your money on food, or supplements with a proven track record.

I've no doubt you can point me in the direction of a trainer, friend or some online authority who rates CLA as a fat loss supplement. But unless you can point me in the direction of some new found clinical evidence that challenges the above anecdotal evidence is largely irrelevant in this case.
