I have a huge problem with sugar. Put a cake or homemade cookie in front of me and I am done! What's your advice for combating this? Peppermint tea or tea of any sort does nothing to help

I don't see any problem with the occasional cake or cookie but I don't buy them or make them (often) so I'm not so tempted eat too many at once.
I bought some lamingtons (yum!) last week, ate just one serve and put the rest in the freezer for another day.
And on the weekend I bought one cupcake. And, as is often the case, it didn't taste a good as it looked. I need to remember that!
I think it's just practice.... those foods will always be around, so it's good to get used to planning for them, enjoying some and not going back for seconds - unless it's REALLY good and you have the calories to spare.1
