Pre-workout supplelents

I work out on duty, usually around 3 or 4 am. Does anyone know a good, stimulant free pre-workout supplant that will help me get through the early morning grog, but allow me to go to bed after I get off work at 6am?

Elite Gold Amino Uptake from Complete Nutrition. There is a review from a user who said they can take it and still sleep after their workout...so who knows, might be worth a try. Here is a link: https://www.completenutrition.com/sports-nutrition/elite-gold-amino-uptake/

I don't think anything stimulant free would help with early morning grog, that's what stimulants do.

+1. I have it black, no sugar, no sugar substitutes after my whey protein shake ( I made it myself)

I put a lot of stuff in my morning smoothies:

    Protein powder
    Chia seeds
    Sesame seeds
    Goji powder
    Acai powder
    Cinnamon
    Cacao nibs
    Hemp
    Flax
    Powdered Calcium
    Vitamin D
    Maca

I also add powders: Beet, carrot, and/or pomegranate powder, tart cherry

Nothing really stim free will work except for food. And if it is a pre workout and stim free and it may have a placebo effect, then still try it! Even though it's placebo, it still wakes you up;p I do like global formulas non stim pre workout. The beta alanine content in it won't let you sleep lol

If your looking for a good pump feeling without a stim, I would recommend looking for 4-6 grams of Citrulline Malate. You can pair this BCAAs, Glutamine, Creatine and caffeine to create your own pre-workout. I've used AML's pre-workout and I have had good results, but it does have caffeine in it.

I work out at 3 or 4am, get off work at 6am, then go home to sleep by 7:15-7:30am. Sleep is precious, I can't compromise it. But at 3 and 4am after having been at work since 6pm the previous night, it's hard to get a decent workout being so tired.

Any way you could work out before going to work? And adjusting your sleep schedule?

I work shift work and often have to workout at strange hours then go home and sleep. I started using the AMPed line from Isagenix, and I find it amazing. Have been using it for a few weeks now and it hasn't interfered with my ability to sleep. They also have a 30 day money back guarantee which I really liked.

I like Optimum Nutrition's Amino Energy. It's BCAA's with caffeine from natural sources. You can take it before, during, or after your workout.
