DailyBurn calorie calculation??

Hi there!
I'm doing the black fire program on daily burn... It is all about 20-30 or so minutes per workout (lifting weights and tabata style workouts) and really tough... But every workout says that I will burn upwards of 550+ calories per workout! I am just assuming that this is a HUGE overestimation... How should I log these workouts? And how do they come up with these high numbers??

I guess it is. I did tabata style workouts in the past and only counted the intervals where I did something, and not the short breaks between exercises. Say in 50/10 intervals I would only count the 50 seconds workout and not the 10 seconds break. Looking back at my diary I usually logged about 150-210kcal per session of about 30-40 net minutes. Note, this was for a weight of about 145-125lbs. It was very much in line with the calorie deficit I had and the amount of weight I lost. These numbers were indeed based on tested maintenance calories without sport, calorie deficit and average weight loss.
