I bought a fitbit flex about a week ago. I'm trying to learn the ins and outs.

It tracks and syncs daily activities. What do you manually log?

Thanks in advance.

I usually manually log anything that's not captured sufficiently just by steps. For example, mowing the lawn usually gets me quite a few steps, but I burn a lot more calories than I would have if I had just walked around the yard for the same length of time. So I log mowing. You should also log activities like swimming or biking that aren't getting you steps.

I log swimming, roller skating, spinning (when i did that) and calorie burns for more intense activities like Zumba, lifting, or aerobic based classes or activities.
