I have the ancient tool, known as the abdomenizer, however, I am not sure it is helpful to the obliques. Can someone suggest some oiblique exercises, or tell me a decent place to look?

its hard to explain without actually seeing it on video. My favorite are just medicine ball twists, the key really is your form. I always tell my clients look behind you when you twist and make sure you touch the ball to the floor each time to maximize your twists.
Here is a quick video I found, but in the video she is not maximizing the exercise, always look behind you, and always touch the ball to the ground,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLzoMAp-6lc
This is also a great machine if you are at the gymhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPzeN-XWW3g
