Hi... I am 34 , a full time working Mom of a 2 year old...when I delivered my daughter I was 82.6 kgs and now down to 68 kgs with the help of exercise and diet. I am not able to get rid of the last 5-6 kgs. I am finding it hard to keep up with my daily diet control. I don't know why particularly I am loosing my motivation. I really need some inspiration. This is my first post, I hope to get some support here. I am not sure what I am missing motivation or I am just being lazy (though I would not like to believe that I am lazy, I work really hard from my side to manage everything). Hoping for some insight!!

Hi @iamgunz welcome to the forum and congratulations on your big loss so far! That's amazing work! I'm in a similar place in terms of trying to shift those last 6 kilos so I feel your pain. Just a few quick questions to see if we can be more helpful...
Have you used MFP for a while or are you just starting out logging? I've had a quick peak at your profile and noticed that your diary is private. Would you mind making your diary open so that we can all give you some pointers on what you're eating? You can follow the steps here (http://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/201687-how-do-i-make-my-diary-visible-to-other-users-) if you're not sure how to do it. It means that the people using this forum can spot some things like logging inaccuracies that could be holding you back.
If you haven't been logging on here for a while, then my first recommendation is to read the sticky threads for beginners and put faith in the fact that this really works if you do it right! It also takes time and patience (particularly at the pointy end of your journey) so stick with it.
Also, I noticed that your profile still has you down to lose 44lb. If that was your starting weight then make sure you change it to your current weight to log your progress, you might see that downward trend on the weight loss chart and find the motivation you need to keep going!
Feel free to add me as a friend if you like and we can help to motivate each other0 -
Hi @evelynwhitelaw ..Thanks a ton for replying to my post. And yes you are right I have not used the logging up calories in MFP till now. I will start logging everything I eat on MFP and will make my dairy open. I need to really get rid of this unrequired weight. There is a strong chance that I am somehow eating more then the required calorie intake . My new count for calorie is 1220. I will try my level best to stick with it.
Adding you And yes I have changed my profile and updated my new goal0 -
Fantastic! See you've got the right attitude and strength, you'll get there no worries
One last bit of helpful information, if you don't have one already, get yourself a digital scale (super cheap on like ebay or amazon) and log everything by it's weight not by serving or cup sizes. Really helps take the guess work out of it!0 -
Sure.I am going to purchase it , I want to be sure of my food intake now and that machine will be of great use. Thanks dear0
