    Counter point from granny: Don't adopt a routine you can't sustain. Crash and burn isn't a good strategy. Better to start slower, and ramp up gradually, keeping it to something you think you can do forever (that perception will change over time).

    That said, go ahead and challenge yourself. You can do way more than you think. Your body will tell you in pure physical terms if/when it's too much. (Listen to it.) But you're totally in control of the mental part.

    Strong and fit feels great.
