Honestly any veggie basically! The grill itself adds so much flavor. Little salt, little pepper, and some good grill marks and I'm a happy camper

I like to grill huge portabello mushrooms and eat them like hamburgers on a bun. Not sure how BBQ this is, but I do cook it on the grill. Pizza. I made a traditional pizza dough, oil the grill and slap that bad boy on there. You want the grill to be super hot. The last one I made had mozarella and a couple of types of squash with fresh basil. It was so good. I grill one side for about 2 minutes, flip it and then add my toppings. Pizza on the grill is super fast too.

Agree with the vegetable suggestion. I like grilled zucchini and squash and bell peppers. Stuffed bell peppers cooked on the grill are good, too.

Grilled pineapple is a nice sweet option.

Google the "pulled pork" made with jackfruit. I haven't tried it yet, but really want to!

    Tofu Veggie Kabobs

Cut extra firm tofu and veggies in bigger pieces

    Marinate in-
    1/2Cup soy sauce
    1/2Cup red wine vinegar
    Tbsp of Olive Oil
Salt, pepper, chilli powder, garlic powder and onion powder

    Veggies I use:
    - Red onions
    - Pepper
    - Mushroom
    - Eggplant
    - Cherry tomatoes

Put skewers through veggies and tofu and grill
(Tastes great stir fried also, with all of the liquid)

I will second the jackfruit suggestion -- you can even buy it pre-made now if you don't want to make it (Upton's Naturals). It's pretty low calorie too.

I also like soy curls -- you buy them dehydrated, soak them in water, and then you can add them to sauce. I recently made bbq sandwiches with them and they were delicious.

Thanks everyone! Yes, after posting this, I also found the jackfruit "no pork" BBQ recipe. It sounds interesting and I will try to find it and make it. I do make lots of BBQ veggies but I was specifically looking for a "non-beef, non-pork" type of BBQ for sandwiches for my vegetarian son. So thanks for your suggestions!
