Doesn't matter. As long as you are in a calorie deficit you will lose weight. Food/carb timing does not make a difference.0 -

Agree. Unless you are an advanced body builder and working on really specific goals, timing of any macro makes no difference if you are a fairly normal person looking to lose weight fairly normally.0 -
Whenever works best for you. Having a bit before a heavy workout can be beneficial, but otherwise some people like them in the morning, some people carb backload and eat them at night. I always preferred them at night when I was eating a bit higher carb. It was soothing for me before bed, that was the only reason.0

Eat carbs at any time.0

Unless you're training for long endurance activity or bodybuilding competition, worrying about when you eat carbs or any other macro is majoring in the minors. If your primary goal is weight loss, timing is unimportant.0

From a context of pure weight loss, then no, it does not matter when you get your carbs in (assuming calorie deficit). From a context of remaining body composition (assuming there is a training stilmulus), then it plays a very small role (Google search Eric Helms and Dr. Israetel for further information on the matter as they have both independently published hierarchies on this). The importance of which, as others have stated, will be far less important to that of a general gym trainee (and possibly might derail adherence due to added complexity of diet). More important to that of a professional athlete whose results in placing might be directly effected by the timing of his or her carbs around activity for better gym performance.0
