If you enter an individual food item that you use often and want to save as a favorite without inputting the data yourself, you can search for it in the food database, check the data, log it in your food diary as a single item then go ''quick tools'' + "remember meal'' and have the food saved forever. I'm not sure if there is a limit to how many ''meals'' you can store, but I'm sure this would be helpful for me and many other people.
Hopefully MFP will add a feature soon where you can favorite already inputted foods and the ability to search within those to save time. I guess theres always the barcode scanner, but I've found that some entries are wrong or cannot have serving sizes modified.
