Steps in new Fitbit not showing up on mfp

It's my first day with a new Fitbit HR, but although my iPhone 5S is saying it's connected to the Fitbit, Mfp is showing the Fitbit steps as 0. I've done about 7,000 today so far.

Does anyone know what I need to do to get it to work, please?

    I have Android so not sure if all the functions are the same as the Apple app. Fitbit is linked and will send over data. If I want step count, on my app you can go to the menu and then choose steps. The dfault was checked for "Don't Count Steps". You can activate it there.

    Thanks. I disconnected to Fitbit from the phone and reconnected. That seemed to
    do the trick and it's working now.

    Does anyone actually use a phone to make calls any more? ;)
