Steps in new Fitbit not showing up on mfp

It's my first day with a new Fitbit HR, but although my iPhone 5S is saying it's connected to the Fitbit, Mfp is showing the Fitbit steps as 0. I've done about 7,000 today so far.
Does anyone know what I need to do to get it to work, please?
