After 6 months if changed habits (making good choices, logging calories, no pop, lots of water and lots of walking) I dropped 33 pounds to my goal weight and a healthy BMI. I've maintained this weight now for 4 weeks, but I
continue to eat well and walk lots. I keep getting the your going to waste away comments. What is the most polite and short response. I know they mean well .. But I plan to
Continue walking, etc. it's good for my health and allows me the calories to eat more things and try to get more nutrients in my
Diet (I am consistantly low on potassium). I don't intend to loose more, but somehow I don't think people believe me :)

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Just make sure you have your settings set to maintenance and that you are logging your food and exercise. If you notice a loss, then you need to up your calorie goal. I was under yesterday and felt light-headed twice today, so I really feel it! I added an extra meal bar this afternoon, and then felt better. The thing with potassium is that it is not listed on many foods, even if they contain potassium. Sometimes I look up the food in other databases to check on potassium levels. Most fruits and vegetables are good sources, but coffee is too!

"Thanks, I'll have to be careful to not let that happen" usually works. Or, if someone is not very nice about it a "You're so lucky you don't have to worry about that" also works. My mother says that every time I eat dinner at her house. Telling he that I will be careful usually calms her.

ETA: most things you eat don't list potassium information even if the food contains it. Unless you have a doctor tell you that your potassium is low, or you're on some medication that is known to lower potassium, like a maintenance inhaler, then you shouldn't worry about it.
