I'm in China on business, again. This time the company got me into Will's Gym. Affordable option for the company.
Safe pool with lane ropes so I don't get hit in the head anymore.
And they have a decent weight room with machines, dumbbells and barbells.
And they have a bilingual sign one sees in most every gym.
"Please Rack Your Weights."
And as in every gym, there is a percentage of people that seem to suffer from Sign Blindness.
Then there are the ones who can't see the difference between the 6kg label on the rack and the 20kg label on the dumbbell.
At home, I can leave something on the floor for hours. But if I see a dumbbell in the wrong place I feel compelled to fix it. One of the trainers saw me doing this. His reaction was unexpected. When I went back to lifting, he helped out by pointing out where I could improve my form on certain things and why. A very helpful young man. He worked with me until his next client arrived. Not a bad day.
