Weighing chicken?

Are you supposed to weigh chicken before or after cooking it? I'm not sure which number gets logged into MFP

Before, unless your nutrition facts specifically state it's for cooked meat.

It varies by entry. When I cook, I try to find entries for "raw" and weigh the chicken before cooking. If I can't for some reason, I try to find end-result recipes (Fried Chicken for example) and use the cooked weight.

What you really need to be careful about is weighing it one way and entering it the other -- that will lead to falsely low or falsely high calorie counts.
