5'7" 155ish female athlete trying to lose body fat and see more muscle tone. What's a good macro range for proteins, fats, and carbs? Also, does caloric intake matter when you're just focused on the macros?

Losing body fat will be more about your calories than your macros. You need a deficit to lose fat.0

.8 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight, minimum
.4 grams of fat per pound of bodyweight, minimum
Everything else = more protein, more fat, or carbs in whatever quantities you want as long as they fit your calorie budget
Yes, caloric intake matters.
You don't need a deficit to lose fat, though. You can eat at maintenance and burn fat while building muscle, given the proper training program (i.e., progressive resistance.)0 -
Calories always matter...0
