Hello everyone, I am wondering if anyone else has experienced headaches when they cut down on refined sugar and caffeine? My mother and I both get mild headaches for the first 1-2 weeks of eating healthy and then we are fine. Just wondering if anyone else has similar experiences?

Withdrawing from caffeine can cause headaches - pretty common effect. Once withdrawal is completed, they go away (whether or not there is "healthy eating").

What does giving up caffeine have to do with "eating healthy?" I eat a lots of veggie, fruit, lean meat, whole grain, some dairy, keep the processed foods to a minimum. And I also drink coffee and tea, which some studies show to be related to longevity.

I drink plain unsweetened black coffee every morning. My 3 cups adds 7 calories to my day. I see no reason to stop, but if I do (like for a medical test or procedure) it gives me a headache.

It's also common to experience headaches when cutting sugar...hence that term "carb-flu" that people on low carb experience.
