Kentucky

So I'm from Michigan and for my culinary class we had to pick any place in the world to do a report about. I picked Kentucky because, even though I was only there for 3 days it quickly became my favorite place I've ever been to. I've been to D.C., Vegas, L.A., the Grand Canyon, Florida, San Diego, etc., but Kentucky is my favorite. Anyways for all those Kentuckians out there, what are some cultures, traditions, customs, etc. that you could inform me about? I've been researching online, but hope to get more info from people who live there.
