Hello, so..
I'm 5'4 & about 180 lbs. My birthday is June 5th, so I have about a month to really be serious and try to lose some weight. What are some realistic goals? Maybe losing 5-10 pounds? I ride my bike to my classes and I am going to do zumba ir jog for 20-30 minutes a day.
The hard part is that I tend to binge eat and lose self control! But I can stick to no candy/chips/etc. And drink alot of water, but i just think i need some advice to stay motivated and make it real.

I have been dieting and exercising for about 7 months now and have lost 70 lbs. The most i lost in a month was like 15 lbs and the least ive lost was like 7 lbs. But averaging mine out its about 10 lb a month. But I am dieting in a pretty major deficit and working out tons.
If you can cut out your binge eating and keep your self control while keeping your deficit pretty high you can get upwards of 10. But if you cannot stop your binge eating and lose self control then you can eliminate your deficit to 0 and lose nothing.
Something i have been thinking about is how to conquer goals and well its all about understanding, motivation and dedication. You have a good understanding on how to do it but lacking in motivation and without motivation you have no dedication. How much do you really really want this? Are you willing to find the motivation that is inside you? After finding the motivation you can then dedicate yourself and you will succeed. Know that you already have everything it takes to do this but the big question is how much do you really want it?0 -
I almost lost my self control today when grocery shopping. I made a bad decision on going down the candy isle, and with all the temptation i actually kept my self control and got nothing. Its not much but if i were to have gotten some candy it would have ruined my calorie deficit for the day and maybe a couple days.
When you are faced with the option to lose self control, take a second and take a step back. Ask yourself is it worth it to lose self control and indulge or is it worth it to stick to your goals.1
