I am finding it hard to find which day of the week I should weigh myself? Is there a specific day to choose in order to lose weight.

Yes, Saturday mornings will yield the lowest weight.6

I think Monday's are best!2

Tuesdays always give me the best weight loss. But only if I weigh before 6:30 am.2

Personally i weighed myself every day and honestly i found it just fluctuates. As long as your eating right and exercising it won't matter if one day you are a little extra. Just make sure its not a pattern that becomes linear and constantly increments1

Every day1

You mean any week out of the year? Because if we're not factoring the the seasonal axis tilt of the earth then the best day to weigh is Tuesday.8

I weigh and record every day at https://www.fourmilab.ch/cgi-bin/HackDiet
Gives me a trend line so that even if my weight fluctuates, I can still see that it's steadily moving down. Minimizes discouragement if my weight goes up a pound overnight.0 -
Yes, Saturday mornings will yield the lowest weight.
According to who? Why? How?
I think the day is of little consequence, it's more about consistency.
I weigh myself Friday mornings, after using the toilet. Friday is normally after I have done the majority of my exercise for the week and before I eat water weight inducing foods over the weekend.

I wish I could. I'm in a constant inertial battle of my love for data, and my hatred of NORMAL daily fluctuations.
Op, weekly, I feel I'm lightest on Saturday mornings.1 -
Days that end with a g, in German.0

Not Wednesday then3 -
I choose all the days which end in "Y". Those particular days work for me.2

You choose.geminigarcia199017 wrote: »Is there a specific day to choose in order to lose weight.0 -
There isn't a best day. Just pick a day and be consistent with time of day, scale and conditions.
I chose Sunday mornings. I like to start the week knowing where I am at.1 -
Every day and I use Trendweight to see the overall trend.1

There is no single magical day to ensure you will log a loss for the week. If it bothers you that much, then weigh every day. I do and so do many others on here. If weighing daily makes you anxious or obsessive, then pick one day a week or even just one a month and weigh yourself. The single data point of one day is insignificant. It's the trend from week-to-week that matters. If you see an overall downward trend over several weeks, you are losing.
I weigh daily but only log my weight on Fridays. I tend to eat out Fridays and/or Saturdays, so Friday morning is typically my lowest weight for the week.
I was just reading your other post in which you were stressing out about stepping on the scale after vacation. You didn't respond well to the suggestions to just step on the scale and get it over with. It sounds like the number on the scale is causing you a great deal of anxiety. Maybe you shouldn't weigh yourself at all and just take measurements/focus on how you feel and how your clothes fit.0 -
Tuesday is by far the best day but time is also important. If you are normally up and around during the day, you must weigh at exactly 3:09 a.m.
Seriously, it doesn't matter one bit. Most weigh first thing in the morning after fasting all night for the most consistency.0 -

I find 4:21am Eastern to be superior to 3:091 -
Fun thread.
If I wake up and think "hmm, I feel a bit slimmer today" then I hop on the scales and see if I'm right.
Still the same? Oh well, won't record today.
I don't stick to a real weighing schedule and don't log 10ths of a pound...just round up or down to the nearest whole number.0 -

Do you take the lovan right after you wake up?

Do you take the lovan right after you wake up?
Same time, ever day at 7:00am so I need to find a time before I take my medication
If it is affecting your sleep, take it as soon as you wake up if possible.
Pick one day of the week to weigh and weigh yourself after you've been to the bathroom and before you eat/drink, Or weigh yourself everyday and use an app like trendweight or libra to record your daily weight to see the downward weightloss trend.0 -
I weigh every day. I'm heaviest Wednesdays and Fridays. I assume it's because I lift weights on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The other days all of my running and/or lifting is in the mornings.0
-
I weigh daily, in my birthday suit, in the morning after I evacuate my bladder and bowels. Then I track it on Libra, an app on my phone. I should go back and see if there is any specific day that I am generally lighter, than the others.0

Every day.
Get an app like trendweight or happy scale.0 -
I weigh every day but I record my heaviest weight fluctuations on Saturdays and Mondays because Sunday and Friday are my most calorific least active days.0
