Need Low Carb Lunch Ideas for Taking to work

I work landscaping and do not have access to a microwave or refrigerator, I need ideas as to what I could pack for lunches that I won't get bored with and prefer low carb suggestions.

Nuts and jerky are the first 2 things that pop into my head. You can make a large variety of dishes with lentils and/or quinoa and neither of those require refrigeration if you can keep them marginally cool in a lunch bag. They're relatively low carb/high protein, and high fiber. Salads are also a good choice, you can get really creative there.

    Hope that helps, good luck!

When you have time, make a batch of chicken breast, turkey or chicken burgers, etc. Freeze them.

Now, every evening, make a big salad ( greens, cucumber, pepper, etc, keep tomatoes whole, or use cherry tomatoes). In the am add your protein of choice. I work in an office so I just leave it out until lunchtime, by then the chicken is mostly defrosted. You may want to invest in an insulated bag for your salad. It may take a little bit of trial and error till you get it right

You can probably keep things cool with a little ice pack in your lunch box, that way you could bring tuna, boiled eggs, ham/turkey rolled with cheese, cucumbers to snack on, any kind of leafy salad vegetable, chicken broth (if you warmed it in the morning and kept it in a thermos), bacon strips....ummm, that's all I can think of for now ;-)
