I'm getting mixed Information on what the correct percentage I should use to lose 2lbs a week. I'm 5'9 and 235. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Appropriate amount of calories for weight management; appropriate macros for calorie management.
So - set calories first, then, if something is not right, worry about macros.1 -
Different people may have different success rates with macro percentages. For example I use 30%carbs/40%proteins/30%fats and it works well for me. However, when I'm not exercising on my regular schedule I lower my carbs.1

Don't use percentages. First, figure out your daily total Calorie goal. Then, use the general guideline of 1g protein/lb of body weight, 0.4g fat/lb of body weight. Then:
4x # of grams of protein = Calories from protein
9x # of grams of fat = Calories from fat
Then fill in the leftover Calories with whatever you want.1
