Rice weight I'm confused

When you log in 50g of rice would that be before cooked or after?

When searching for the food, I specify. So raw weight or dry. I usually have 60g dry as a portion. Plenty for me.

I cook my brown rice in a batch then store it in the refrigerator. I use an entry for brown rice that specifically claims to be for "cooked" brown rice. I measure 78 grams each day and it works ok.

I cook a big batch and weigh out 100g portions. When I log, I search "white jasmine rice cooked" :)

I measure dry. If you're OCD, you can weight dry for the amount of portion sizes you're cooking. After cooking, you can re-weigh the entire batch then divide by the number of servings for the cooked rice grams.

I'm assuming you're looking at the packaging and it say something like 1/4 cup (50g)...that is the dry measurement. Food labels most typically provide the dry or raw measurement, otherwise they will stipulate that it is "cooked" which you typically see for something like bacon.

If you weigh it out cooked (I cook my grains in large batches) you need to find the entry for "cooked" whatever it is and use that.
