Putting things into perspective!!

Hi guys! I've never really done one of these before, I'm a browser rather than a writer lol! But I was just sitting waiting for my dinner and I started doing a bit of research. I first researched how many calories is sufficient enough for me to lose weight, based on my height and weight etc. Then I looked at what a healthy weight for someone of my measurements would be.. turns out I should be between 108 and 145 pounds. That's roughly between 7 and a half stone and 10 (ish) stone. I'm currently 230 pounds.. roughly 16 stone. So I thought to myself, that means I need to lose 6 stone.. sounds a lot right? Or does it? Really? That's 84 pounds! If you take in to consideration that a healthy weekly weight loss is roughly 2 pounds a week.. that means it would take me 42 weeks to lose 6 stone! That's less than a year, I can't believe I didn't realise this sooner!! Breaking it down like that has really shown me that I can do this! What is 6 stone when you break it up and put it into perspective? That has really helped me realise I can actually do this, so by next summer I will look like a whole new person!! We can do this guys! Come on!! Please if anyone else who's struggling with weight wants to add me, please feel free, I could do with some more friends who give motivation, and I promise to do the same!! Bye for now you lovely lot xx
