I've been doing 100+/day or every other day for a while now. Not just for this. And several variations.0 -
I did 60 pushups today. I plan to try to make up my missed days of last weekend over this coming weekend.
Checking back over my exercise diary I see that I only skipped 2 days. Less makeup due.0 -

I did 160 push-up today. My exercise diary holds information saying that this is a total of 950 from a month beginning on May 16. This is one day short of the pace I need to be on, and I intend to make up that day tomorrow.0

Wow im stoked i did that many! I am going to be starting a new pushup challenge here pretty soon i will put a link here when i do. I based this challenge on how much i think i could do so the next one will probably be 2,300 pushups in 30 days. You do not have to do all 1,500 or the 2,300 they are just what i want to hit in 30 days; how ever many you can do is all that counts!1

Here is what I did in the meantime:
June 1st (day 16) 25 25 25 daily total: 75 Running total: 935
June 2nd (day 17) Suspended 25 25 25 daily total: 75 running total: 1010
June 3rd (day 18) rest
June 4th (day 19) regular push-ups 25 25 25 daily total: 75 Running total: 1085
June 5th (day 20) rest
June 6th (day 21) Suspended push-ups 25 25 30 daily total 80 running total: 1165

Daily total 80

I am going to start a new one tomorrow but you can finish this 1,500 one before you start the other theres no rush or you can stop this one and start the new one up to you. I was wondering if you stopped or not and good job! your almost done!1 -

For me yes. This is only my second month of doing pushups since i began losing weight (600 the first month and 2100 the second) my strength has increased greatly. The back of my arms are way more toned and muscular, my shoulders are more toned and my chest has more muscles when i flex it. All this with only two months i can't wait to see what a couple more months of being consistent brings.0 -

For me, it hasn't really changed me physically in itself.
I am fairly lean and I have good delts and pecs. I've been doing push-ups for a few years but I used to do 3 sets of 15 every other day, never pushing myself to do more. I do lift heavy 3 times a week and am fairly active otherwise.
This challenge has made me push myself to increase my endurance and it does make me feel like a badass that I will have been able to do 1500 in a month although honestly I think next month I will need to make sure I take one day rest between push-up days to recover.1 -
