I actually just told my husband on Saturday that I was starting to get what I call "Madonna" hands. They are becoming very veiny and creepy looking. My armpit has turned into the never ending pit of darkness. It's like it caved in or something.0

Yassss! Me too! And I haven't even lost half of what I'd like too!!1

Rejoice. You've lost your armor of fat, which among other beautiful features was hiding your veins, which are supposed to be near the surface.8

I just noticed the same thing on my forearms! Was concerned for a bit.

Lol! It's hard to be happy about something that's a little creepy to see for the first time!1

It's worked wonders for my blood donations. The Red Cross has always liked the vein in my left arm, but they'd still have to root around for it under the fat. Now it pops right out and they could dart it from across the room if they wanted to.3

Huh, I've noticed phlebotomists no longer compliment me on my "good veins." Now I know why0 -
Yep, it is strange. I'm Casper pale, so I could see some veins before, but now some places I think I can see capillaries.0

Aaaaaah, there's a name for my hands! My hands have always been very veiny and skinny. Even when I shot up 70 lb before, my hands were still veiny. Now that I'm back at my normal weight, gross. I have very large hands for a female and a pretty small wrist. They're the same size as many men's hands, just very skinny with lots of veins.
I actually try to keep my nails painted to make them look more feminine.

Not yet, but the first time I lost weight they freaked me out too. But they were always there, so I try not to get too worked up about it.1

My hands and feet are the stuff heroine users dream about. No problem finding a vein in those places. If only the people who take blood would take from there instead of my arm where they can't find a vein.1

This. It's a GOOD thing.1 -
I like when my veins showed up. Let me know I was heading in the right direction! I worry when they go away!1
