Burnout or overheated?

I usually do several classes a week, swim at least twice a week, plus have a weekly pt session and try to do a couple of weights sessions. Until this week I have had no problems (though have only been doing grit sessions for the last two weeks).
On Monday I had a high intensity class where the room was full and baking hot, due to air conditioning being on blink. Was sweating buckets and a couple of regulars ended up walking out. Went straight in the next class in same room after, as did a couple of others, we all struggled through it, even the instructor.
Have been feeling really weak with no energy today, really struggled in my pt session this morning and my PT thinks it may be burnout due to me doing so much, Pt is great but on this i'm not so sure, as its a bit of coincidence it happened straight after the mega hot classes.

It could be a combo of both. Would it hurt to dial it back a few notches this week? Here is a very helpful article a friend shared with me when my runs and my workouts suddenly started tanking. My will was there, my body not so much. https://philmaffetone.com/the-overtraining-syndrome/ Training in really hot conditions could wear anyone out though. Hope your feeling better, but regardless of the cause, it sounds like your body needs a bit of a rest.

When I work in the field on a really hot, humid, sunny day and don't drink enough water that's how I feel the next day. So I would say overheating and dehydration, but either way, it won't do you any harm to just take it easy for a few days and recover.

Thanks for replies. Am feeling lots better today but made sure I've been drinking extra plus skipped swimming this morning. Will certainly take it easy for rest of week and also be more cautious if the room is really hot.

Are you just drinking water or an electrolyte replacement drink? When you're sweating buckets, you need to replace a lot more than just the H2O, otherwise you will be a limp dishrag for a couple of days. You're lucky you didn't wake up in the middle of the night with calf cramps.

At the moment just water, but am looking at other options whilst this hot spell is on.
Did two classes this evening Grit where I worked at mid intensity, then spin where I was fine.
No cramps or other issues just no energy and feeling weak.
Also seems im not the only one suffering, even the instructor in Grit tonight had a woozy spell, which is worrying.

Yes also a manx, very sadly she went to rainbow bridge a couple of months back after struggling to recover from an operation. Lovely little rat so kept her as pic.
