On the couch...watching workout shows.

Does anyone else sometimes lay on their couch while watching shows like Biggest Loss, Extreme Weight Loss, Strong, etc. and think, I could be doing that now, I should be doing that now? Does it motivate you or make you hate yourself more?

Do you try doing them throughout the commercials? Just to not feel bad?

I don't watch a lot of TV (I only had cable 2 of the last 10 years) and if I do I'm not wasting my time watching exercise shows. I prefer to watch a lot of the comic book shows (Flash, Agents of Shield, Arrow, etc...) and some of the crime shows (NCIS, and when they were on, White Collar, Psych, The Mentalist, etc...)

When I watch the workout shows, it pisses me off. Some of it is unrealistic and puts false hope in us we can do it. I do dig Jillian Michaels because she programs are 30 minutes and designed to be achievable. I usually just turn the channel away from it.

All I think about if I happen to watch those shows is how easily I would get injured. Hubs and I watched one the other day with couples and I thought we could do something like that together, but on a MUCH smaller scale. Also, I hate reality shows so I'm also mostly thinking about how really dumb most of the content is.
