Hi everyone,
I just decided to join this site because I realized that what I needed more than anything in maintaining my fitness was having somebody to help keep me motivated. In the past year, I've gone from 175 lb to 150lb. Considering that during this time I lived on college dorm/cafeteria food, I'm pretty proud of my progress, but now that I'm home for the summer, I'm finding it harder to get up and exercise every day.
My major goals are A) to be able to run a 5k (I can still barely run a mile right now..though that might be more from boredom than fitness) to lose 10-15 more pounds. It's exciting to see how close I am to my goal, but I've been stuck at this plateau for a few months and need an extra push. My final goal is to begin to feel good about my body, through becoming more toned and learning how to move gracefully (I'm notoriously uncoordinated).
A few people I've talked to really recommended this site to me, and I can see why. Is there anyone that wants to be a recently-graduated college student's motivation buddy? I'm really up-beat and positive, and love talking to other people.
I guess if anybody has any questions, ask away? I suck at introductions.
Either way, can't wait to hear from people!
